A  21-years-old girl achieved a dream that any girl would wish for, crowing Miss India, Sini Shetty representing Karnataka had that moment of her life by winning the crown of Miss India 2022 and will be walking the stage of Miss World, for India.

Sini Shetty was born in Mumbai. However, is a native of coastal Karnataka, a state where ethnicity and ancestry converge. Her father – Sadanand Shetty from Madmu, Kaup and mother – Hema Shetty from Punchoor, Bellampalli Udupi. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is now pursuing the CFA designation as a professional course. 

Her passion has always been dance. She began dancing at the age of four and completed her Arangetram in Bharatanatyam when she was fourteen. She was able to turn her interest into a full-fledged profession. She has featured in the ads of pro-known brands like airtel, westside, pantaloons etc.

This girl power is an inspiration for all the girls to come out of their boxes and start dreaming.  As is the case with many women in her community and throughout India, she was reared with a strong ambition to succeed and become self-sufficient. She is obligated to share her dream with those who are, denied it while maintaining a balance with her traditions. This opportunity has taught her that everything is possible with faith, dedication, and hard work.
