Mangalore: Rome of the East is all set for a Grand Christmas

Mangalore: The coastal city Mangalore known as Rome of the East has come alive and is gearing up for Christmas after a low-key celebration last year due to the pandemic. Lighting, decoration, and music are used to bring in the Christmas celebrations in homes, malls, stores, etc.

If last year was a modest celebration with just the family, this year we have a lot of people from far-off areas visiting. Carol singing has returned, as have decorations around the city. The demand for celebratory decorations, kuswar, flowers, cakes, clothing, and other necessities has risen.
