On Thursday, January 27, Fr. Kenneth Crasta of Our Lady of Miracles Church blessed Hindocare India’s new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Kaup’s Belapu Industrial Area. It is one of India’s largest and most modern toothpaste and soap manufacturers, with WHO-GMP certification.
The company will introduce its Luvmark Beauty Soap and Calcybrite Toothpaste brands. Around five months ago, the firm introduced its toothbrush brand in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. In South India, it has a market share of around 1% in the toothbrush sector. This year, the firm intends to add 50 employees to the production facility and more than 200 in the sales department. Hindocare India intends to be the market leader in India’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. The factory has a soap capacity of 24 tonnes per day that can be increased to 72 tonnes per day, as well as a toothpaste capacity of 8 tonnes per day that can be increased to 24 tonnes per day.
It has an automated packaging machine capable of wrapping 250 soaps per minute and packing 120 toothpaste tubes and cartons per minute. The items would be made in a temperature-controlled building with modern HVAC systems, with no human intervention in the process. Hindocare India has dedicated advanced quality control, instrumentation, and microbiology laboratory for quality control management. With an emphasis on exports, contract manufacturing and private labeling for multinationals will be undertaken.
