The National Health Authority (NHA) has approved India’s first ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) integrated health locker app DRiefcase, as the first PHR (Personal Health Records) app for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) roll-out. ABDM is a digital framework that will connect patients, physicians, and other healthcare stakeholders throughout the country to allow for the safe and secure exchange of health data.
Driefcase will now allow users to share health information with doctors and healthcare service providers using the ABDM framework. Users can now create their own Ayushman Bharat Health Account (or ABHA address) and ensure that the medical records they create are issued to the correct person or accessed by a health information user only after proper consent is granted. Patients may download, preserve, and share their medical records for free by downloading the DRiefcase mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
