An engineer, a model, an actress, Youtube channel owner, creator of a multi-million viewed video, Gaana Bhat has many feathers that adorns her cap. Versatility is definitely a word that can be used to describe Gaana Bhat.
Gaana Bhat was raised in a Mangalorean household even though she lived in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu as a child. She returned to her hometown, Mangalore, in her teenage years. She completed her pre-university education from St. Aloysius PU College and proceeded to secure a degree in Engineering from Srinivas Institute of Technology.
She decided to pursue a career in Engineering and began working with Infosys, Mysore. Her job helped her find greater heights as she went forth to work on an assignment at Apple in the US. Currently, she is working with Yahoo, Bangalore as an Associate Manager.
Even when she pursued engineering, she had always been fascinated and passionate about many areas in the media and this led her to stumble upon the path of modeling. When she was abroad, she had the fortune of working with companies that helped her sharpen her skills in ramp walks and photo shoots. Her modeling career has helped her become published in international magazines like iMirage, 7 Hues, and Sheeba.
Other than modeling, she has two youtube channels as well. One of her channels is called Desi Twist and the other is called Gaana Bhat. In the former, a dance video has captured so much attention that it has over 8.6 million views. The latter is her lifestyle and beauty vlogs.
When one talks about Ms. Bhat’s acting career, her presence in the telefilm Taxi 24/7 which was directed by Nagaraj Bhat in 2015 began it all. This opened her doors to acting and led to her being a part of many acting ventures in commercial, independent and short films respectively, in multiple languages that include Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and English. Shetchu, Silent date, Vasantha Sameeram are a few of her film ventures. She has also been a part of Tamil music covers of a version of Maruvarthai Pesade, Unkaadhal Enne Thottu. Ninnu Kori, a Telugu Superhit Film that features Nani has her in a cameo role.
The latest feather in her cap is the Telugu web series Mymarapu that is available on the SonyLiv originals platform. For her admirers in the United States of America, it will be available in Yupp TV app soon. She is more than happy to be a part of Babru which is her Kannada debut and is the first Kannada movie to be completely shot across the USA.
