The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast significant rainfall in most regions of Karnataka. Rains are expected to lash the coastal districts of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada (DK), Uttara Kannada, and Udupi, as well as the hilly regions of Shivamogga, Kodagu, and Hassan.
From Tuesday, Nov. 22, forward, rains are forecasted in the north Karnataka districts of Vijayapura and Haveri, as well as the south Karnataka districts of Mandya, Ramnagar, Mysuru, and Tumakuru.
Bengaluru awoke to a gloomy morning that made it look like a mountain resort. The city’s low temperature on Monday was 13.9 degrees Celsius. This low temperature in November is the lowest Bengaluru has seen in ten years. For the past week, Bengaluru and other regions of the state have experienced chilly weather. However, people who live in rainy areas are crossing their fingers because severe rains could disrupt city life.
