At the Malpe beach, the floating bridge is now ready to delight and excite visitors. Three businessmen from Thailand, Sudesh, Dhananjaya, and Shekhar, constructed a floating bridge last year at a cost of Rs 80 lac. The 150-foot-long new floating bridge is now complete with updated safety measures. The floating bridge was constructed on the beach by the company’s employees, who then tested it for three months.

The new floating bridge’s building components survived the Mandaus cyclone as well and were not harmed or destroyed. Due to its substantially stronger joints, this bridge is stronger. Malpe is now the only beach with a floating bridge outside of Kerala.

The district government has also implemented safety measures to shield visitors from dangers like falling into the ocean. The floating bridge will be reopening soon for all the tourists
