In the Financial Management Paper of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) test for the December 2022 session, Shivani Maria Monthiero placed third in India. She is Valentina Monteiro’s daughter and a third-year BCom (ACCA) student at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.
Shivani expressed her appreciation for the assistance she had received on her tour. She stated: “Although achieving a rank was not something I had planned on, I feel incredibly honoured and fortunate. I want to thank my mother first and foremost for her unwavering support and encouragement. For guiding, encouraging, and motivating me, I also want to thank the principal, administration, my lecturers, and my classmates.”
The first college in Mangaluru to provide a BCom with ACCA integrated batch in 2016 is St Agnes College, which is still successfully offering it after seven years. Since there are big 10 audit firms hiring ACCA affiliates, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) institute is the international professional accounting body that offers the “Chartered Certified Accountant” qualification. This qualification offers a wide range of opportunities both abroad and in India. With 241,000 members and 542,000 students in 180 countries, the ACCA is a rapidly expanding worldwide accounting association.
