The hoisted flag is 30 feet by 45 feet in size. The hoisting and unfurling apparatus for the pole is electrically powered.

According to IGP Chandragupta, sacred deeds like the widespread hoisting of the national flag will realise the nation’s aspiration to uplift itself through noble values, and the tricolour will spread the values of selflessness, bravery, peace, and harmony.

N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor claimed the company had operated a hospital in Deralakatte for 24 years. “It is an honour to display a sizable national flag as we commemorate the institution’s silver jubilee. Every pupil should salute the national flag as they enter an educational facility “said Hegde. The size and height are inconsequential, he continued, but the Tricolour’s meaning must be widely understood.
