The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), renowned for its introduction of various luxury bus services, is all set to enhance its fleet with the addition of a brand-new luxury sleeper coach, christened ‘Pallakki.’
Dakshina Kannada district residents are already familiar with the convenience of the Rajahamsa, Airavat, and Ambari luxury sleeper coaches. Now, the Pallakki bus is primed to make its debut in Mangaluru.
At present, there are 12 KSRTC buses operational, and there are ambitious plans to integrate 40 Pallakki buses into the fleet. Among these, eight buses will be stationed in Mangaluru, while four are designated for the Puttur division. Pallakki buses will be featured on several routes, including those connecting to Bengaluru. Furthermore, an additional nine new KSRTC buses are slated for deployment in the Puttur zone. Two buses each will be assigned to the B C Road, Dharmastala, and Madikeri depots, and one will be stationed in Sullia.
The introduction of the Pallakki sleeper coach represents a significant expansion of KSRTC’s services, promising enhanced travel options and comfort for passengers in the Dakshina Kannada district.
With the addition of Pallakki to its fleet, KSRTC continues to prioritize quality and convenience in public transportation, offering a diverse range of options for travelers throughout Karnataka.
