Meet 23-year-old Purushottam Bambila who has created a mini tipper out of a 125cc scooter
Tipper trucks are used for carrying a variety of loads including road construction materials and farm materials. Due to its large size, the tipper truck cannot usually enter farms and require to be parked somewhere close to a farm. This would mean that physical labor is required to unload and reload the truck every single time. This task can be a little tedious over a period of time. However, twenty-three-year-old Purushottam Bambila hailing from the Paltadi village situated near Kavanur in the Kadapa Taluk of Dakshina Kannada has come up with a remarkable solution – A mini tipper.
Bambila’s mini tipper is every farmer’s dream. Made by modifying a 125cc Yamaha scooter, this mini tipper has a gearbox attached to it along with a three feet wide body that will enable the vehicle to carry loads of up to two quintals. By putting one and one together, Bambila has provided the answer to the question of how work can be made easier at the farm. Now farmers need not load or unload their goods manually from a point far from the farm, for, this mini tipper can enter farms owing to its sleek and long body. This innovation is set to revolutionize the act of carrying loads all together as farmers now have something to rely upon to carry their goods to and from the farm easily.
Innovations such as these, at the basic level, at the level of common people are extremely important for the simple fact that it is the effort of these countless farmers that fill our stomachs and fill up the rows of foods in our supermarkets. If it weren’t for these hard-working souls, people in every part of the world would be in a crisis as food is one of the most important things in a human’s life because hunger is a primary drive. Living without satisfying this primary drive can not only be difficult but can also prove to be fatal. Therefore we need more inspiring people like Bambila who prove that innovations and inventions aren’t exclusive to big companies and cities and that progress can begin at the village as well. This innovation of his will mark a new era in farming as more and more farmers begin to want to avail of the services of this big tipper.
