9- year- old Armaan Mohammed Asif who is a student of Cambridge School, Mangaluru is the Bronze winner in this 60 cm category. He represented Mangaluru Horse Riding Academy as he rode his horse Baringo at EIRS, Bengaluru.

He was trained at Mangalore Horse Riding Academy by Avinand Anchanahalli who in his college days had travelled to and fro his college Roshni Nilaya where he pursued his post graduation. His intention with this idea in the modern era was to create an awareness about pollution, reducing the usage of fuel as well as energy. He also insists that when one cares about animals, keeps the city green and does his part for it to remain so, society becomes a much better place to live in.

Anchanahalli has started Dakshina Kannada’s first ever Horse Riding Academy in Mangalore. His training caters to individuals of all ages who share the love. He has been an avid lover of animals and horses especially have gained his love. He has bred them since when he was very young. He believes in leading by example and thus rides horses on a regular basis over riding a bike or a car. When one rides horses,he says, one achieves fitness, learns more about horse therapy and nurtures the love for animals

He believes that winning is never important rather, participating in such premier horse riding shows is important. He opines that his participation in events such as these helps him gain knowledge as he meets many international level horse riders. His academy caters to almost 35 students out of which 6 students are show jumping-ready.
