Mangaloreans can pay water bills online now!

With covid on toll, the residents of mangalore are facing difficulties paying electricity and water bills. The inconvenience of long queues and importance of social distancing has indeed become a bane. Owing to such circumstances the Mangaluru City Corporation(MCC) in collaboration with the State Bank of India has introduced an online portal to pay the water bills.

The water bills can be easily sorted now with just one click. MCC’s website having the link ‘Online Water Bill Payment’ one can pay the dues with easy options of credit card, UPI or Net banking. One can also input personal details and sequence of bills as per the terms, says the SBI Deputy General Manager. 

This new water system was launched by the MCC Mayor. As per the words of MCC commissioner the SBI made this endeavor possible, when approached, by its quick response and output.

The MCC Administration tells a report of about 93,000 household dues on the line. This system makes it possible for us to pay the water bill from sum of Rs.10.80 to Rs.1 lakh via net banking. The users of this system can also download the bills as a PDF , note down reference numbers and so on.QR scan and payment is possible for multi-purpose workers.

On the same day MCC launched the Trade License Certificate Mobile Application.This will commence from January, making renewal and new licensing for trade online mode.The new Transferable Development Rights (TDR) cell has also been set-up in the meantime.

Making the residents comfortable during such pandemic is indeed a work to be appreciated. Residents need to be co-operative for the best of its function.
