Examinations for the second PU students are postponed in view of the rising number of Covid 19 infections. The educational minister stated that around seven lakh students were to write the exams which were initially scheduled from May 24 to June 16.
Panic has been created in the state in view of the alarming number of infected individuals. Hence it does not seem appropriate to hold examinations now. New dates have not been decided yet and would be announced 15-20 days prior to the examination.
As per the opinions of principals, teachers and parents the preparatory exams were already postponed. Since the officials responsible for examination duty and the students have left to their natives, this decision of postponing examinations has been taken.
