The UAE Civil Aviation Authority has approved the start of flights from the Mangalore International Airport (MIA) after being delighted by the world-class Rapid RT PCR set up by the MIA and Apollo Diagnostics. Air India Express will operate the inaugural flight today. The flight will be a huge help to Gulf passengers who have been waiting for flights to start from MIA.
The district health department and the district collector’s office actively supported the establishment of the Rapid RT PCR facility in MIA with the support of the Karnataka government.The MIA has launched a Rapid RT PCR laboratory in collaboration with Apollo Diagnostics. Each passenger must obtain a negative RT PCR report at the airport six hours prior to boarding the plane, according to the newest UAE government health standards. It is recommended that passengers arrive six hours prior to the flight so that all passengers can be tested on time.
The Rapid RT PCR testing at the MIA is being conducted by Apollo, which has offered a team of specialist pathologists, cutting-edge equipment, and tight quality controls. The tests will take place in a sterile and safe setting for the passengers, following all Covid SOPs regulations. The MIA has taken a number of safety precautions and executed a number of SOPs, including the government-mandated preventive measures to protect passengers’ health and prevent the spread of the virus.
