A new special series of Rs 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, and Rs 20 was released by Narendra Modi to celebrate the Iconic week of the Ministry of Finance from June 6-11, 2022. The subject of these special coins is the AKAM logo, and they are easily identifiable by visually impaired people.
They’ll constantly remind people of Amrit Kaal’s goals and encourage them to contribute to the country’s development. These designs are not commemorative coins and will be part of the circulation.
“These new series of coins will remind people of the goal of Amrit Kal and motivate people to work towards the development of the country,” Modi said while addressing the iconic week celebration of the Ministry of Finance
PM Modi unveiled the Jan Samarth Site, a national portal for credit-linked government initiatives. It’s a one-stop digital site that connects beneficiaries to lenders directly through government credit schemes.
