This native from Elamakkara of Cochin district in Kerala is a second-year MSc Biochemistry student of MES College, Kochi. She has utilised her lockdown time to study and in the last 3 months, has finished 350 courses from world-renowned universities on the online platform ‘Coursera’ within 90 days. The Universal Record Forum (URF) has recognised her effort and it has become a world record.
She is the daughter of Maliyekkal Madathil M R Reghunath and Kaladevi. She has managed to complete courses offered by renowned universities such as John Hawkins University, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), University of Virginia, State University of New York, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Copenhagen, University of Rochester, Emory University and Coursera Project Network.
When congratulatory messages flowed in , she revealed that it was the faculty members of her college like Principal Ajims P Muhammed, Coursera coordinator Haneefa K G and class tutor Neelima T K, who encouraged her to try online learning and in turn helped her complete them within just a few weeks.
