Ms. Bindiya Shetty from Mangalore has been awarded the best NSS volunteer by the Ministry of Affairs and Sports, Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India for the National service Award 2019-2020.–Volunteer Category which is received by the Honorable President Of India, On 24th September 2021 in New Delhi. Bindiya is the daughter of Katla Leeladhar Shetty and Sujatha Shetty.
Ms. Bindya Shetty, a final-year B.com student, is a brilliant girl who has also achieved 6th rank in SSLC and 5th rank in KSEEB’s Pre-University Level Examination. She is studying CA and has received awards from a number of different organisations. She has won numerous awards as a result of her participation in various competitions. Bindya Shetty performed Yakshagana in front of honoured Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi at the Republic Day Parade-2019 in New Delhi.
