Dakshina Kannada: Almost 1 lakh people yet to take first dose of vaccine

In Dakshina Kannada, over a lakh people have yet to receive their first dosage. The district has set a goal of providing vaccinations to 17,15,000 people but has vaccinated 15,94,687 people. Overall, the Dakshina Kannada district met 93% of its first-dose target and approximately 63% of its second-dose target with Udupi being at 95%. It is crucial for every individual to receive both the doses of vaccines and stay safe.

The district has provided several doses of vaccinations, with 15.3 lakhs receiving the first dosage and 10.1 lakhs receiving both doses. In the previous weeks, the district had provided over 80,000 doses of vaccination through vigorous campaigns, including door-to-door visits as part of the Har Ghar Dastak campaign.
