How To Get Traffic Challan Paid Online

The majority of accidents on Indian roadways have always been caused by traffic violations. Overspeeding, failure to use safety equipment, and driving while inebriated are all examples of common incidents. In such circumstances, they are levied on the traffic violators, and they are issued a challan.

Steps to pay traffic challan

Step 1: Go to the e-challan website or the Digital Transport/Traffic Enforcement Solution portal to start this process. Here: https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index/accused-challan

Step 2: Select the ‘Check Challan Status’ tab from the drop-down menu. Select it by clicking on it.

Step 3: Fill in the required information, such as your driver’s licence or car number, challan number, and so on. After you’ve entered these details, you’ll need to enter the CAPTCHA code to check your e challan online.

Step 4: After selecting the ‘Get Details’ option, you’ll be able to see all of the details about the challan, including the overall number of challans issued against your name.

Step 5: If any challans appear in the Challan Status row, you must pay the fine. Under the ‘Payment’ tab, you must select the ‘Pay Now’ option.

Step 6: To pay the required fine, you can use a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, net banking, and so on. When the payment is completed, you will receive a ‘Payment Successful’ notification on your registered mobile number, along with a transaction ID.

It’s a good idea to retain the transaction ID on hand in case you need it later. It’s worth noting that the introduction of such transparent methods has made it easier to keep track of whether you’ve paid your fine on time. If you do to follow these steps after completing an e challan check, you will be subject to additional penalties under the Motor Vehicles Act of 2019.
