The ‘Jan Samarth Platform,’ a nationwide portal for credit-linked government initiatives established by PM Narendra Modi, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) via Twitter.
Jan Samarth Platform is a digital one-stop-shop that will connect 13 government credit initiatives on a single platform. This website will connect beneficiaries with lenders directly. Beneficiaries can digitally check their eligibility in a few steps, apply online under eligible schemes and receive digital approval.
According to the website, Jan Samarth, “The core objective of the scheme is to promote inclusive growth and development of various sectors by guiding and providing them with the right of Government benefits through simple and digital processes.”
