Karnataka chief minister to make further decisions on reopening of schools

The Chief Minister of Karnataka had earlier suggested that the schools around the state be reopened from August 23. However after the trip to Manglauru the discussion was re considered due to the rise in number of cases. Colleges have opened for offline classes while only vaccinated students and staff are allowed to attend. The reopening of schools remains a doubt as the students are below the age of 18 and are not yet vaccinated.
