Karnataka to achieve 100% 1st dose vaccine coverage soon

Karnataka is 0.1% away from becoming the first large state, which has over 4 crore adult population in the country, to achieve 100% first dose coverage, 99.9%, and counting. The government of Karnataka has decided to ramp up the vaccination campaign for youngsters aged 15 to 18. 

The first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to around 52% of youngsters aged 15 to 18. 72% of India’s adult population is completely vaccinated. At a news conference, 52% of children in the 15–18 age range in the nation have been vaccinated, and the proportion of completely vaccinated people is 72 % against COVID-19.
