Founder president of UAE based Thumbay group, Thumbay Moideen has been listed in the Forbes Middle East list of top 30 Indian businessmen. Hailing from the city of Mangalore this business tycoon is ranked 11th in the top 30 list among the other bigwigs.
This list contains top notches from sectors like retail, industry, healthcare, banking and finance. The list includes big shots from Lulu group, landmark group, GEMS education, RP group and many more.
Since 1998, the Thumbay group has ventured out to broaden its horizons in the field of healthcare. It has also emphasized in multiple areas of health education and medical research. Attributing to this, the Thumbay University hospital stands tall and proud. With an initial investment of mere $272 million dollars this hospital has a capacity to treat more than 20,000 patients per day. With the aim to reach out, the group plans to open 15 more branches across UAE, India, GCC and Africa.
