The entire world has brought back the Christmas spirit, and Christmas, night markets have begun to appear all over the place, including Mangaluru. The jam-packed event is being organised with the principal goal of capturing memorable moments, and the leading event management firm, Stone Bridge Entertainment, is planning a highlight for this year’s Christmas, ‘Night Market’ on Sunday, December 11, at City Beach, Ferry Road, Bolar, starting at 3.30 p.m.
Various opportunities are provided through the Christmas Night Market to watch and hear live music from A26, the world-class, nine-year-old power-packed band known for all genres of music and the main attraction of this year’s Night Market. Being the centre of attention by winning “best band in Goa,” “India Night Life Awards,” twice in a row, and being nominated for “best band in India” speak volumes about Band A26’s calibre. A live performance by the Mangaluru-based band Band Rusteze will also be featured, as will a solo performance by renowned singer-songwriter Frizzel D’Souza.
The vibrant Night Market will feature various stalls consisting of clothing, ornaments, luxury, and fancy items, all managed by Mangaluru’s well-known women’s empowerment organisation, EVOLVE. Children under the age of 12 will have free access, and it will cost Rs 500 per person. The set-up of a dedicated play area for kids with entertaining games and prizes is not to be missed, along with the presence of numerous food and bar counters and activities related to cake mixing and pottery making, which will be the other main celebration boosts.
