Already, a buzz has been created at the airport which is the luminescent décor of ‘Kalpavriksha’, the wish-fulfilling tree in the forecourt of the lower ground floor. It has emerged as the new selfie hotspot at the airport. Families & individuals, irrespective of their faith take their time off for a picture-perfect moment. A similar décor in the pre-SHA in front of the airline counter will also present one more opportunity to add a picture to everyone’s travel memory bank.

The terminal will also be lit up on this auspicious occasion of Diwali celebrations to add to the festive ambience of the airport. MIA celebrates local festivals and cultures,  enthusiastically. MIA has unveiled the #IndiasCelebrationStarter to capture the spirit of  festival celebrations as a starting point, with millions of passengers travelling all around in order to experience the Indian festive season, reflecting its cultural ethos.
