Nagara Sarige bus fares have increased.

The KSRTC increased the Nagara Sarige bus prices on suburban routes, which surprised and irritated several customers. Officials with the KSRTC  the increase was made after six years as part of a state-level decision in response to rising diesel prices.

The fare for travel between Mangalore and Mudipu has been increased from Rs 19 to Rs 25. Passengers ruled that the fares were changed for several suburban routes by about 30%. Some passengers have put out social media posts questioning the fare hike. They will protest if the government does not reduce the prices.
