President Ram Nath Kovind will stay in Mangalore on October 7 and 8 during his visit to Sringeri, informed Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner. According to the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s instructions and protocol, the President’s lodging, meals, and other arrangements, as well as those of the officials and other employees accompanying him, would be arranged in a timely way. A team of doctors and an ambulance service are on standby, and the public works department has been tasked with repairing the connected roadways. All arrangements shall be made in accordance with the norms of Covid.
According to the President’s current itinerary, he would leave Mysuru airport at 5.20 p.m. on October 7 and arrive at Mangalore airport at 6.10 p.m. He will arrive in the city at 6.35 p.m. and will stay in either a private hotel or the Circuit House. He will arrive at the airport here at 10.45 a.m. the next day after breakfast and fly to Sringeri temple in a special helicopter at 11.40 a.m. to pay obeisance to the presiding deity. He will leave Sringeri at 3.15 p.m. and arrive at 3.45 p.m. at the airport here. He will arrive in the city at 4.10 p.m. and will spend the night there. He will leave at 11 a.m. on October 9 after breakfast and travel to New Delhi at 11.25 a.m. from the airport.
