The government has introduced another easy way to receive the Covid vaccination certificate. The MyGov app will guide users to receive their certificates easily through WhatsApp. The method of WhatsApp communication was introduced to prevent wrong information from being spread regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The Corona Helpdesk can also be used to locate nearby vaccination centers.
How can one receive the Covid vaccination certificate online?
The vaccination certificates can be accessed by individuals who have received at least one dose of vaccination. This is how you can receive your certificate on WhatsApp.
- Firstly you need to save the number 9013151515 on your smartphone followed by which you’ll have to search for my gov chatbox. You can also get access to the chatbox at https://api.whatsapp.com/send/?phone=919013151515&text=Hi&app_absent=0
- Type and send ‘Covid Certificate” or ‘Download Certificate’ inside the chatbox.
- A six-digit OTP will be sent which needs to be inserted within 30 seconds.
- The chatbox will display names of individuals registered on the specific mobile number and you will have to send the Cowin registration number of the individual whose certificate you wish to download.
- The certificate will be sent in pdf format which the user can easily download, save or print for future reference.
- The same steps can be followed to download the certificates of other users.
The certificates can also be downloaded on the CoWIN website or the Aarogya Setu App. Several other platforms help users book slots for vaccination.
