Summer Vacation till June 14 in Karnataka Schools

Revising the academic calendar for the year 2021-22 in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, the Department of Public Instruction directed that as per the new schedule, schools will break for summer vacation till June 14, 2021. 

The new academic year will commence from June 15, 2021 while the SSLC exam will be conducted as scheduled from June 21, 2021. However, high-school teachers have been directed to conduct revision classes for students attempting their SSLC exam in June 2021, from June 1-14. Thereby, high-school teachers will have their summer vacation only till May 31, 2021. 

Nevertheless, these dates are only provisional and subject to change.
