Temperature soaring higher in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District

The temperature is steadily rising in the twin cities of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. The average temperature will soon reach 35 degrees Celsius. The heat is still prickling. The circumstances are expected to last for a few days, according to weather experts.

The highest temperature ever recorded in Mangaluru was 34.9 degrees Celsius on Friday. The hottest temperature thus far for February was 37.5 degrees Celsius, which was registered on February 14.

Contagious diseases are spreading more widely as the temperature rises. Surathkal, Hosabettu, and Mangaluru city have reported foggy weather. Early morning pedestrians and drivers had a difficult time due to the low visibility. According to meteorologists, this type of weather is prevalent when the season changes from winter to summer.
