Director Santhosh Mada said,’ I am very happy to bag the national award for my first movie Jeetige. It is a special feeling. The film revolves around the Koraga community that follows the Koragajja deity during the coronavirus pandemic. Even the muhurta was done at the Koragajja temple at Padavinangady during the coronavirus period in 2022.

It was challenging to shoot during the pandemic as coronavirus was on the rise, which we have shown in our movie ‘Jeetige’. Our hard work has paid off.”
