Wenlock hospital equipped with 25-bed isolation ward for Covid-19 patients

As a precaution, a 25-bed isolation ward has been put up at the District Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru in case anyone travelling from abroad and testing positive for Covid-19 needs to be treated.

The Covid test is already being administered to travellers arriving from overseas at the Mangaluru International Airport. The samples are subsequently forwarded to the genome sequencing laboratory in the event that Covid is verified.
