In 2011, when MMJ Admin heard the film title “Mumbai Meri Jaan”, he thought Mangalore Meri Jaan and an idea struck him: why not create something that embraces the culture, people and lifestyle of the city he called Home. Thus started this journeyon the well-known Social media platform Facebook. This became a page where pictures and captions spoke volumes about Namma Kudla as they say in Tulu which translates to our Mangalore. Gradually, the page grew in followers and realized that they needed to set foot in the growing world of social media and started a page on the social media platform Instagram. Now through this website, we try to capture the hearts of all those who want to know about Mangalore not just through posts that are likely to be forgotten the next day, but as articles that will continue to remain in the pages of this website.

Inspiration comes in all forms and many blogs have been cornerstones that helped shape this page.
