Those who are planning to study or work overseas may have their second Covishield jab 28 days after their first day. “Students, people traveling for employment, and athletes traveling to compete in the Olympics should receive the second dosage of vaccination after 28 days instead of 84 days, as directed by the Union Health Ministry,” the communication stated.
The National Health Mission Director wrote to the BBMP’s chief commissioner and deputy commissioners, requesting that people planning to travel abroad get vaccinated as soon as possible. In addition to receiving the self-declaration form, the vaccination officer must examine the candidates’ documents and certifications. also stated that the same must be posted on the Cowin site. Those who did not submit their passport information for the first dosage must do so for the second one.
Those traveling abroad must currently wait 12 to 16 weeks for a booster dose, which has caused significant disruption for many people.
