- The five-fold method of test-track-treat-vaccination, as well as ensuring adherence to COVID-appropriate behavior, will be strictly enforced.
- It is noted that all meetings, conferences, and other events should be tightly restricted to 500 participants only, and COVID-proper behavior should be severely enforced throughout the event; the organizers are responsible for enforcing the same.
- All educational institutions’ cultural activities, fests, and festivities shall be postponed until January 15, 2022.
- Parents of children under the age of 18 who attend school or college should be required to receive two doses of the COVID vaccination.
- The government will conduct mandatory testing of health personnel, those over the age of 65, and people with comorbidities.
- Only people who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination will be allowed to enter malls, cinema halls, and theatres.
- Government employees are required to receive two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Face masks are an important preventative step. To ensure that the core requirement of masking is properly enforced, the BBMP, District Authorities, and Local Authorities will levy fines of Rs. 250 in Municipal Corporation areas and Rs. 100 in other areas for any infraction in this respect.
- To restrict the spread locally, there will be intense containment (micro-containment measures) and active surveillance in clusters/areas reporting higher instances.
- Strict monitoring at border posts set up by districts bordering Kerala and Maharashtra states would continue following the current circular/guidelines published by the Karnataka Department of Health and Family Welfare.
