On Monday, January 17, Sharada Infradesign Private Ltd. wrote a letter to the Karnataka Tourism Minister, requesting that they recognize Bappanadu temple as a tourist destination and consider Mukka/Sasihithlu beach-Bappanadu, Mulki as a tourist route. As per the letter, Mulki is a historically important site known for its peacefulness.
The Sasihithlu beach, Bhagavati temple, Umamaheshwari temple (Hoige Gudde), Chitrapu, Kallasanka-Padubailu Kordabbu temple, Kolachi Kambla Mantra surfing, and Bappanadu may all be developed into eco-friendly tourist spots. It also advises that a suitable road be built for the beach’s growth. Similar attempts by the local public have been made in the past, and a memorandum was sent over to the former CM, prior ministers, and local people’s representatives, but no response has been received so far.
