Now You Can Order Sand Through Maralu Mitra App In Karnataka

  The Dakshina Kannada district has made 24,488 metric tons of sand through the Maralu Mitra app.

Deputy Commissioner K V Rajendra said the district administration has two stockyards at Adhyapadi and Shambur. While there is 16,619 MT of sand in Adhyapadi, Shambur has a stock of 7,870 MT as of Wednesday. The district has already received 137 orders through Maralu Mitra, including 20 orders on Wednesday, the DC said. The district has already supplied 1,504 MT of sand through the app. A total of 218 MT of sand was dispatched to customers on Wednesday alone, he added.

Maralu Mitra is an official sand booking and delivery platform, launched by the government of Karnataka. It aims to provide sand to consumers at standard prices and make delivery available at all locations in the state.

  Those who want sand to build houses or for any other purposes, may book sand by logging on to https://sand.karnataka.gov.in/Public, and make the payment online. You may also track the order after booking sand.
