Aura Club NMAMIT has organised Hair Donation Programme in association with Flyhigh Charitable Trust and Mercy Academy in Phalguni Hall of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte on the 21st of April 2022 with the motive to help the Cancer patients who undergo hair loss due to extreme medications.
The programme was initiated by a formal inaugural function where the Vice Principal, Controller of examination, Lecturer Coordinator along with Mrs Mercy the Head of Mercy Academy blessed with their humble words. After the inaugural, it was followed with the hair donation programme where we had a total of 14 Candidates who came forward with a great smile for the donation of their hair. The Club really appreciate the kind heart of the students who donated.
The Club in Association with the Flyhigh Charitable Trust and Mercy Academy, aimed at helping cancer patients who undergo hair loss due to chemotherapy. The donated hair is woven into wigs and is donated to the cancer patients who are unable to afford the high cost of wigs which cost around 40 to 50 thousand Rupees.
