IndiGo raised its wings now to the national capital [Delhi] from the coastal city commencing operation on the Delhi (DEL)-Mangaluru (IXE)-DEL sector with an Airbus A320 aircraft on Friday, July 1.
While 77 passengers reached IXE on flight 6E 2164, 140 passengers travelled to Delhi on board flight 6E 2165. Captain Anubhav Banerjee helmed this flight
Flight 6E 2164/6E 2165 will operate on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Flight 6E 2164 leaves Delhi at 7.40 am and with a scheduled arrival of 10.15 am at Mangaluru International Airport. Flight 6E 2165 will leave Mangaluru International Airport at 10.45 am and reach Delhi at 1.20 pm. IndiGo also operates a transit flight 6E 671/6E 6431 from Delhi to IXE via Pune on these very days.
his direct flight to Delhi opens connectivity – domestically and internationally to different places. Mangaluru International Airport is facilitating airlines to start operations to/from this #GatewayToGoodness. This in turn provides passengers with an enhanced opportunity to travel to destinations of their choice.
IndiGo also has plans to start flights using ATR aircraft to Chennai (morning), Kochi and Tirupati from MIA. The airline recently started a through flight to Belagavi via Bengaluru using a mix of A320/ATR aircraft respectively. Passengers have a layover of approximately 2 hours in Bengaluru before they board the flight to Belagavi and 80 minutes at Bengaluru Enroute MIA on the return flight.
