The KSRTC Mangalore division is preparing to launch special two-day package trips to Goa and one day to Kerala this year for the Christmas holidays in response to the success of the one-day package tours introduced during Dasara and Deepavali. It is most likely a one-night and two-day package for Goa. The Kanhangad, the Rajarajeshwara Temple, Taliparamba, the Madayi Kavu Temple, and Bekal Fort are all included in the Kerala day trip package.

The tour package from Mangalore to Madikeri got the most interest. There are usually four buses that go to Madikeri every day. Seven buses ran to Madikeri on Sunday; three to Kollur, and one to Puttur. The Kollur trip package from Mangaluru includes visits to Maranakatte Mahalingeshwara Temple, Kollur Mookambika Temple, Kamalashile Durgaparameshwari Temple, and Uchila Sri Mahalakshmi Temple.

The Puttur tour includes visits to Vittal Panchalingeshwara Temple, Murthyunjeshwara Temple, Puttur Mahalingeshwara Temple, Gejjegiri, and Hanumagiri, while the Madikeri package includes visits to Raja Seat, Abbi Falls, Nisargadhama, Golden Temple, and Harangi Dam. The division’s decision to continue the services on weekends was motivated by the response.
