Toll collection at Surathkal will completely stop from Dec 1 – DC

Ravikumar M. R., the deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada, said that the Surathkal toll gate will no longer accept payments at all starting on December 1.

According to Ravikumar, toll collection at the toll gate close to NITK would cease in accordance with the letter sent by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project director. DC Ravikumar stated in his order that the order would take effect at midnight on November 30.

The public is not required to pay a toll to pass through the toll gate anymore, starting on December 1, 2022.
