Doctors, Nurses And Paramedics To Receive Covid-19 Vaccine First

Even before the government makes decisions about supply of the vaccine that will be made available, the Department of Health and Family Welfare in Dakshina Kannada have made arrangements so that doctors, nurses and paramedics who work in both government and private hospitals can be vaccinated first. 

Ramachandra Bairy, Health and Family Welfare Officer of Dakshina Kannada informed that in order that the vaccine can be administered in this phase, 420 booths will be set up in the district with staff that are trained to administer the same.
