The state health department will start the vaccinations of those above the age of 18 from 22 May 2021. Frontline workers between the age of 18-44 will be given priority.
The campaign was stopped as the State faced shortage in vaccine. As per the decision taken on May 15, it has been considered to give priority to the frontline workers. To enable this efficiently a district level nodal officer has to be nominated. These instructions are mentioned in the order from the health department.
