On June 21, the lockdown in Karnataka will cease. The state government will make a decision to relieve the curfew restrictions after analyzing the situation, the Chief Minister stated. He also mentioned that, until the end of this week, he would only decide on this matter after consulting with the Senior Ministers and other officials concerned with the Covid 19 Technical Advisory Committee of Karnataka.
In 11 districts – Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Davangere, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Rural, Mandya, Belagavi, Kodagu-Karnataka has enforced stringent measures in cases of Covid-19. Karnataka has approved certain relaxations in the remaining 19 districts, including the opening of parks and industrial units with riders, extending the hours of stores selling basic items till 2 PM, and allowing cars and taxis to carry a maximum of two people.
