Mangaluru – Mandovi Racing team to participate in INRC after 3 years

Mandovi Racing team from Mangalore has announced that they will be competing in the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC). Veteran driver Aroor Arjun Rao and veteran co-driver Satish Rajagopal will pilot the car. Aroor Arjun Rao finished fourth overall in the INRC four times, twice as the 1600 category champion, and once as the winner of the Rally Star Cup. In 2009, he won the Malaysian Rally Group N Championship.

They are back in INRC after an almost three-year-long break. They’ll be driving the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, India’s first rally car, and making their debut in the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC).

Mr. Mohan of Falkon Motorsports in Coimbatore is preparing the car to FMSCI R specifications. They will be driving under the Mandovi Racing brand (Mandovi Motors is a Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer)Team Principal – Aroor Sanjay Rao. MRF tyres will support them in the championship.
