The chief minister of Karnataka said that they are taking high precautions against the increasing cases in Kerala and will strictly monitor the inter state borders.The Deputy commissioners will be taking stringent measures and will remain alert in view of the increasing cases in the neighboring state. The CM has arrived at the Delhi international Airport to attend a meeting scheduled with the Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai told the media that there has been a spurt of Covid cases in Kerala and there are three border districts in Karnataka. He said that the state government will increase testing, tracing and tracking with more emphasis in border districts of Mysore, Kodagu, Chamrajnagar, Dakshina Kannada. He added that the medical facilities have been asked to be prepared at the borders. A detailed meeting will be held in this matter after the CM returns from Delhi.
