17 in Udupi, 21 teachers in DK to get best teacher award

In Dakshina Kannada, seven teachers from lower primary, higher primary, and secondary school categories have been chosen for the district-level best teacher award, which will be presented today on occasion of Teachers’ Day. In the Udupi district, five teachers will receive the award in the lower primary school category, and six teachers each will receive the award in the higher primary and secondary school categories, respectively.

P.V. Chetana Kumari from GHPS Kudrebettu; P. Shivananda Bhandary from GLPS Bollukallu; K. Surekha from GLPS Basti Garden; Pratima Hebbar from GHPS Bagambila; Archana from GLPS Pencharu near Moodbidri; N. Shantakumari from GLPS Channavara; and K. Swetha from GLPS Channavara are the teachers from lower primary selected in Dakshina Kannada. Sucheta from GHPS Kedila, Amitanand Hegde from GHPS Bangadi, K. Pavana from GHPS Kapikad, Suresh Rao from GHPS Nalyapadavu, Rajeev Shetty from GHPS Aliyuru, N. Sheenappa Naika from GHPS Golitottu, and G. Sunanda from GHPS Peralu will be recognized in the higher primary category. 

Venkataramana Acharya from Government Secondary School (GSS) Sajipamooda, Ajit Kumar from GSS Gerukatte, Sunanda from GSS Nadugoodu, Everest Felix Crasta from Cascia Secondary School Jeppu, Shankar Naika from Sarvodaya Secondary School Kallamundkuru, Geetamani S. from Government Pre University College Kobettu Puttur, and Kenchaveerappa from Government Secondary School Markanja will receive the award in the secondary school category

 

Shanta Pai of GHPS Yadtadi, Shekar Ganiga of GLPS Kismati, Manjunath Shetty of GLPS Kuchhooru, Suresh Shetty of GLPS Konjady, and M.N. Reshma of GLPS Kudi were selected in the lower primary school category in Udupi. Dinakar Shetty of GHPS Badanediyuru, Chandranarayana Billava of GHPS Shiroor, Narendra Kamath of GHPS Kabettu, Shaili Prema Kumari of UBCM Higher Primary School Padooru, Ganesh Herale of GHPS Alpady Ardi, and Shrinivas of GHPS Shedimane will get the prize in the higher primary school category.

 

P.V. Ananda Saligrama of MNDSM Secondary School Mudrady, Santosh Kumar Shetty of GSS Heskattooru, Subrahmanya Tantri of S.V.S Secondary School Katpady, P. Krishnamurthy of Government PU College Navunda, Narendra Kumar of Vivekananda Secondary School for Girls Kota, and B.B. Praveena of Sriniketana Aided Secondary School Matapady will get the award.
