Increase in Afghan students applications in Mangalore University

The Afghan crisis has had a significant impact on Afghan nationals living in India, notably students. 58 Afghan students met with the Mangaluru police commissioner recently to express their concerns about their safety in the country.

Afghan students are enrolling in a large number of courses at Mangalore University for the coming academic year 2021-22. There are 53 Afghan students in the current class, with 22 studying PhDs, 13 postgraduates, and 18 undergraduates. The number of Afghan students registering for the following year has increased dramatically, with 156 students. Of those, 31 are undergraduates, 111 are postgraduates, and 14 are PhDs.

Mangalore University is enrolling students from all around the world and meeting the needs of international students. The registration process has been completed in accordance with government protocol. The university’s alumni serve as brand ambassadors for the institution and  have excellent facilities, high-quality instruction, and excellent publications and research.  The fact that 156 students have registered is a positive indicator, and will provide full support to the students. The staff communicates with the pupils on a regular basis.
