Covid positive instances are reducing in the state. In numerous districts, the positive rate is zero. According to experts Schools can be reopened. After Dasara, schools will reopen. The chief minister will convene a task force committee meeting in Bengaluru to discuss this. The chief minister has expressed interest in reopening the school sooner. Midday meals will begin in schools soon following the Dasara festival. Officers in the affected districts will make the required preparations.
